  • Always guaranteed to open the batting and bowl the most overs, Tim is one of the clubs most valuable players of the last twenty years. With a robust batting technique yielding numerous hundreds over the years and left arm swing bowling complimented by a fiery, competitive streak, Tim has often been compared to the legendary Wasim Akram. Furthermore, his theatrical performances in the field led to the coining of the prevalent “Timothy Piper School of Ballet” phrase. Tim stole the show at the 2008 annual dinner where he picked up the prestigious Jack Seymour trophy, the Olly Cripps bowling cup and the Village cricketers Car of the Year having treated himself to a Porsche Boxster following an image makeover in 2007.
