The heartbeat of all things Newenden. Guy, NCC's most prolific all rounder, made his debut in 1967 as a timid, but hard working 5 year old. Guy has rescued the club on many an occasion, once claiming a hatrick on the last 3 balls of the innings to snatch victory at Crowhurst. Heavy hitting, can turn a poor batting score into a very very good one. Wily off spin, with intelligent changes of pace, Guy is always up there with the top wicket takers and averages to match. Takes huge pride in immaculately prepared wickets and outfield when 125 hour working weeks allow. Useful fielder at point with pinpoint arm. A most loyal servant to the club.
