Match report NCC followed on from last week with another resouding win. Goudhurst won the toss but decided to put NCC into bat hoping for some early blood. This never looked like happening with Morris returning as our specailist opener smashing an impressive early season 60, including one wet one. Assisted by Waterhouse and then the ever reliable Sloane hitting his second 50 in 2 games. Rummery fresh back from the Sissinghurst hot house quickly whacked the ball around the ground pushing our total to 244 off 40 overs.
We opened the bowling with 2 of our rising stars, Ex contemparies Balfour & Jones. Balfour showing some aggressive pace proving too good for most of their top order. All our bowlers played a part Jones snr and Cuthbert, but Smith stole the show cleaning up with 3 wickets and claiming the cap from Bourne.
Goudhurst where alwas on the runrate but just ran out of wickets.

We welcome Wittersham back next week, last chance for a run out before the big league teams join the fray.
